For the last year, I have been spoiled a bit. You see, I am a HUGE Keurig fan. I cannot tell you how many brewers I have “sold” just by letting friends and family try a cup when visiting our home. I then get emails, calls and texts thanking me for telling them about the Keurig. I know of at least six friends that got them for Christmas after I raved. I am a Keurig coffee addict for sure. Brewing a huge pot of coffee, for me, is just something I don’t have the time for. I also love that I can brew a cup of one flavor for my first cup then another flavor for my second cup within a minute or so.

My drinkable afternoon snack. What’s in your cup today? 

One little boy is at his grandparents’ today and one is napping and I am enjoying the quiet while I work. I am also treating myself to a nice cup of coffee. This afternoon’s choice is Tully’s French Roast with crème brûlée creamer. Yum!

When my husband and I were dating, we loved to head out to a fancy coffee house and indulge in a tasty coffee drink. Brewing a big pot of coffee at home was no fun! Back then we had more time and money than sense I think. Now that we are responsible adults and parents of two children and on a tight budget, you won’t catch us at a pricey coffee house very often. We don’t miss it though thanks to our Keurig.

Keurig® K-Cup® AmbassadorI have blogged before about how much I love the Keurig. This machine is fantastic. Not only does it brew a delicious cup of coffee in no time flat, it also brews tea. I am a big sweet tea drinker so this is a big plus for me. I can also have my own impromptu coffee shop in the kitchen when friends stop by to visit. Each person can have their own favorite flavor.

Recently, I was invited to become a K-Cup Ambassador. Do you think I was excited about that? You bet! I already tell everyone about the Keurig, so I am glad to be official. As part of the program, I get to try out different flavors of K-Cup coffee. For the last six weeks or so, I have been alternating between Green Mountain Coffee Breakfast Blend (my hubby’s favorite), Gloria Jean’s Hazelnut Coffee (my favorite), Celestial Seasonings English Breakfast Tea (I make sweet iced tea out of this one) and Tully’s French Roast. Did you know that Keurig offers over 200 varieties of coffee, tea, hot cocoa and iced beverages? Which is your favorite?

Out of the four flavors I have been trying out recently, I absolutely adore the hazelnut variety. I experiment with different creamers and sometimes even make a cafe au lait (half milk, half strongly brewed coffee). I love that I can control the strength of the brew by choosing different cup sizes. The Keurig Special Edition Brewer I received has 5, 8 and 10 oz. setting to help me do just that.
