CuddleUppets: Blankets That Are Puppets Review

CuddleUppets

My 5-Year-Old With His CuddleUppet Snoozing Away After Play

How many of y’all have seen and heard the catchy commercials for the CuddleUppets? The commercials have a tune that will stick in your head and the blankets are really cute. My boys love dancing and wiggling to the theme song that goes something like… “CuddleUppets, the blankets that are puppets. You can play all day and sleep the night away.” If you haven’t heard it, check out the www.cuddleuppets.com website to see the video.

Recognized by industry experts such as Dr. Toy, PTPA Media and Traveling Mom as a top travel toy, CuddleUppets launched this year and are machine washable. They also cost less than twenty dollars ($19.99 plus S&H on their website, but some sites like Amazon may have free shipping options), making them an affordable gift for Christmas, birthdays or any gift giving occasion.

A Close Up

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review one of the CuddleUppets. There are eight CuddleUppets: Pink Poodle, Blue Elephant, Purple Monkey, Yellow Puppy, Brown Bear, Green Crocodile and the newest additions of a Pink Ladybug and Magic Unicorn. We received the green crocodile that you see in the photos of my son. My boys are learning imaginative play and Finley was excited to see the puppet and make his mouth talk. He played with the puppet part of the blanket for about 30 minutes before curling up for a nap on his favorite recliner. I like that the blanket is very soft and cuddly and looks well made. I also love any item that is multi-purpose. The cushy crocodile head even makes a great pillow for long car rides in the car seat. When we received the CuddleUppet, my boys were sick and taking lots of naps so this blanket came in handy. It has also been washed twice to disinfect it from germs. I washed on delicate and followed the washing and drying directions on the label and it is still in great, soft condition. In my opinion, CuddleUppets would be great for car trips during the holidays since kids can use them for blankets. They are great for playing with and entertaining everyone in the car with impromptu puppet shows. My boys love to pick things up in the puppet’s mouth and hand them to me that way. Wouldn’t it be cute to hand a gift to a friend with the puppet’s mouth?

In addition to the CuddleUppets website, they are also available at major retailers and Amazon.com.

  2. All over COMMUNITY, kids are settling in back at college. Despite the rising tuition costs, some students can breathe a little easier thanks to the latest health law that allows young adults to stay on their parents insurance until they turn 26 years old. It’s a much-welcomed money saver for many allowing them to spend their student budgets on more important items, like books. It’s the first step toward a long, healthy life for our college students.
