We Love Eating Outside on the Patio After a Swim
This time of year has us spending a lot of time grilling outside while we watch the boys splash in their little wading pool. They love to swim and climb their playset to slide and swing. One thing that none of us love is that mosquitoes also like to hang outside in our backyard and they are particularly fond of my four year old. The drought we are suffering from this year is terrible, but one somewhat pleasant side effect is that, for the first year in as long as I can remember, I am not seeing nearly as many mosquitoes. Usually they are eating us alive.
Even with a lighter mosquito season, my poor little guy can become covered in angry bites before I even see the pesky critters flying around, so I take pre-emptive measures with Cutter Insect Repellents. I think that the most important thing is that no matter what type of repellent you prefer to use, you actually use one. We Were Sent These Cutter Products To Choose From For Our Family
For our sensitive little boys, we chose the natural products (especially since it is a lighter mosquito season). We love the scent of the Cutter Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent and the Cutter Natural Insect Repellent also goes on nicely. I like that the natural ingredient is oil of lemon eucalyptus in the first product I mentioned. According to Cutter, it is effective and a naturally based insect protection that repels mosquitoes and ticks for up to six hours. The active ingredient is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). For the air around us, we light up our outside dinner with the Cutter American Holiday Candle. It has a light, pleasant scent and helps keep the flies away as well (that were swarming our dinner before we lit it on the day we took these photos).
The Cutter American Holiday Candle Is Pretty and Repels Insects
Cutter let me know that, in a recent survey, two-thirds of people said getting an insect bite could negatively affect their day. However, only 14 percent reported using insect repellent all or most of the time. I like the cutter natural spray because that is my husbands preference. He is very sensitive to the buggies in the area and although I can use the solid stick cutter’s, he feels he gets better coverage with the spray. I have used only cutter since I was a girl scout. **mumbles “36 years ago” **
