OrganicaPure Organic Skin Care Review

Okay, think back to when you were little and you had the sniffles or fell down and scraped your leg. My memories are full of my grandmother rushing to my side and rubbing aloe vera (freshly snapped from her porch plant) all over my scrapped knee or brewing me a warm cup of tea sweetened with honey. These all natural remedies seemed to really help me so when I find out about products that use these as the basis of their new organic line, I am all ears.

Recently, I learned about OrganicaPure and their line of organic skin care products based on three main ingredients: honey, cocoa and aloe vera. They aim to deliver skin care in it’s purest, most organic form. I was sent two of their products… the Cocoa & Honey Body Lotion and the Aloe Vera & Honey Organic Shampoo.

The first thing I do when I try a new product, is give it the sniff test. This organic shampoo smells different than most I have tried. It has a nice scent that isn’t overpowering. It smells lightly of a plant or garden in my opinion. The lotion has a light cocoa scent with a hint of honey. I can smell them both and am happy that the cocoa isn’t overpowering. I have had lotions that smelled way too chocolaty and this one, in  my opinion, is just right.

I have been using the products for over a month now. First I tried out the OrganicaPure Aloe Vera & Honey Organic Shampoo on myself. I have some skin issues on my scalp so I have to be careful what I use. The description said that the ingredients can help dry skin. I really liked the shampoo and did notice that my scalp didn’t seem quite as dry. It didn’t heal up my condition (and I didn’t expect it to), but it didn’t make it any worse and that was what I was hoping for. My hair looked really shiny too. I liked it so much that I decided to use it for the boys. Before this, I was using only baby shampoo as they have very sensitive and fair skin. I noticed right away that their hair seemed softer and shinier. It also smelled great (a lot better than the sweaty little boy smell I am treated to after they play outside). I only have to use a tiny dab. We haven’t even used 1/3 of the bottle and we’ve been using it for a month now. A little definitely goes a long way.

As for the OrganicaPure Cocoa & Honey Body Lotion, I have been using it on my legs and arms. I have very dry skin, but I can’t stand any product that is heavy since I live in such a humid and hot climate. This product doesn’t feel heavy and the gentle, natural scent is really nice. The ingredients used to scent their products are pure essential oil scent blends. No synthetic ingredients are used to scent OrganicaPure products (no phthalates or Parabens are used). I noticed I don’t have to reapply this organic body lotion often and my elbows and feet feel much softer than the days when I forget to put lotion on. I need to make sure this is part of my morning routine.

All in all, I am really pleased with these products. Being on a very tight budget, they are on the pricier side. The shampoo I tried is $24 for 250 ml (a little less than 8 1/2 ozs.) and the lotion is $25 for 250 ml. Gladly, I have found that I have to use such a small amount as opposed to the cheap brands, that the cost isn’t as hard to swallow. It also makes me feel better knowing that the ingredients are top notch. I know I will definitely keep an eye out for sales as that is when I like to stock up on my favorite brands. If you want to know more about the products they make, check out OrganicaPure’s FAQs.

  3. Organic based product may sound good for they are extracted from natural material but as to test their efficacy and effectiveness, I rarely don’t believe with it for it is the same with any other product on markets. There is no such thing as ultimate solution for the hair. They are all hype and what makes as the key solution to your problem? It is through diet and living your life healthy.

  4. Organic was the most safest thing to use when it comes to beauty product but it’s just that it will really require a little bit of your time and effort. But as to it’s effectiveness there’s nothing else to asked about it.

  5. My grandma too has the impulse to run to give assurance to her little granddaughter whenever I was messed up. She would instantly cuddle me when I got hurt or something. In terms of first aid, my grandma has a wide array of means, mostly herbs. I truly am quite okay with alternatives.

  6. All comments are giving positive outlook on this product here. I do would love to avail one. However, it would be a great pleasure if there are certain freebies or events giving away free aloe vera products. I would certainly participate.
